1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JackKnife.io ("JackKnife", "the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

JackKnife is a decentralized music streaming and artist monetization platform built on the Solana blockchain. We provide infrastructure enabling high-fidelity audio streaming and micro-transaction-based patronage using USDC stablecoin.

3. User Accounts and Embedded Wallets

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. By registering, you authorize the creation of a non-custodial embedded cryptographic wallet provided by our third-party partner (Privy). You acknowledge that JackKnife does not hold or control your private keys.

4. Artist Uploads and Music Rights

Artists who upload content to JackKnife assert that they possess the necessary rights and licenses for said content. JackKnife operates an immutable registration system; uploading tracks mints a "MusicRightsCertificate" on the Solana blockchain. You bear full legal responsibility for copyright infringement or unauthorized distribution.

5. Payments and Fiat On-Ramps

Purchases of USDC (in-app currency) are facilitated by third-party fiat on-ramp providers (e.g., MoonPay). JackKnife does not process fiat transactions directly. All streaming payments are processed instantly on-chain and are strictly non-refundable due to the nature of blockchain transactions.

6. Limitation of Liability

The JackKnife platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for any loss of funds resulting from user error, compromised credentials, or smart contract vulnerabilities.
